GENERTE contract application notice

1.
Only adults over the age of 19 may apply for GENERTE Gene Master.

2.
Students, public servants and teachers may not register as a Gene Master.

3.
If you have not received any orders or sponsorship for the first 6 months after registration, your Gene Master qualification will be canceled. If you have received orders or sponsorship within the first 6 months of registration, your Gene Master qualification will be effective until renewal in the following year. If your Gene Master qualification is canceled, you must return your Gene Master registration card and Gene Master notebook to the company.

The Gene Master qualification is limited to individuals, and corporations or organizations are not permitted.

When submitting your application, please submit a copy of your bankbook and identification card to verify the bank account name of the applicant.

If you earn income after registration as a Gene Master, the business income shall be given after withholding taxes and you will be obligated to report and pay composite income tax

7.
According to the Value Added Tax Act, if you have a physical facility (business office) for receiving sponsorship allowance or if you have hired workers and are running a business after having registered as a Gene Master, you will be classified as a business-operating Gene Master and will be responsible for reporting and paying VAT on the sponsorship allowance twice a year.

f you have registered as a Gene Master in the past, you may only re-register as a Gene Master if six months have passed since the loss of the Gene Master qualification and you were not involved in any sales or business activity during the same period. If you violate this regulation and proceed to register, the company may cancel the applicable Gene Master qualification.

f the information written on your application changes after registering for Gene Master, you must report the changes to the company immediately for correction.

10.
When applying for Gene Master or changing information, you must fill out all information based on facts with your real name. If you register false information or the information of another person, you may not claim any right.

11.
A Gene Master may resign at any time by submitting a withdrawal application to the company. Along with the resignation, all qualifications and rights as a Gene Master will elapse. When resigning, you must submit your Gene Master registration card and notebook to the company.

12.
If a Gene Master applicant has had his or her Gene Master qualification taken away due to company decision or if their registration as a Gene Master is seen as a significant hindrance to the operation of the company business and related regulations, the company may reject or suspend the Gene Master application.

13.
If the application information is unclear or has an error, the application registration process may be delayed or may not be processed. Please check the application information again before submitting.
Prohibited acts of a Gene Master

1.
Any act of threatening another party with the intent to interrupt subscription withdrawal or cancellation of a contract, or to force a contract on sales of goods

2.
Any act of telling a lie or exaggerated fact, inducing trade by using deceptive methods, interrupting subscription withdrawal or cancellation of a contract, revealing false or exaggerated facts or to induce a transaction with the other party by using deceptive methods

3.
Any act of changing the address/phone number with the intent to interrupt subscription withdrawal or cancellation of a contract

4.
Any act of harming another party by neglecting the lack of equipment or workforce necessary to resolve disputes or complaints for long periods of time

5.
Any act of unilaterally supplying goods to parties that do not have a subscription and requesting payment, forcefully selling goods to another party or selling goods to subordinate salesmen

6.
Any act of forcing a consumer to purchase goods or receive services through phone calls, fax or computer communications after the consumer has made it clear that he or she does not wish to purchase goods or receive services

7.
Any act of misleading someone to believe that a sponsored direct salesman, who is not employed by a sponsoring direct sales business, is a person employed by a sponsoring direct sales business, or any act of making a person, who is not registered as a sponsored direct salesman, work as a sponsored direct salesman

8.
Any act of doing business without signing a consumer damage compensation insurance agreement in accordance with Article 37 of the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, etc.

9.
Any act of selling goods to another party at a price exceeding the 1,600,000 won (VAT included) set by presidential decree

10.
Any act of using information regarding the consumer without consent from the consumer or beyond the permitted scope
-
11.
Any act of transferring/receiving the position of a sponsored direct sales organization and sponsored direct salesman
-
12.
Any act of making monetary transactions without trading goods or faking trade and only making the monetary transactions

13.
Any act of paying economic profit to salesmen or persons who wish to become salesmen for recruiting subordinate salesmen, or paying economic profits other than the sponsorship allowance without a just cause

14.
Any act of recruiting salesmen or suggesting registration by promising payment of sponsorship allowance which violates Article 20, Clause 3 of the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, etc.

15.
Any act of collecting fees exceeding the standard set by presidential decree below 50,000 won regardless of the title or form such as registration fees, supplementary sales goods, individually assigned sales amount or training fee, or collecting other money or valuables from salesmen or persons who wish to become salesmen

16.
Any act of selling gift certificates to salesmen applicable to one of the following

The salesman repurchases gift certificates sold to consumers or has another person purchase it

ㅡ
Any act of paying a sponsorship allowances of a level that cannot be seen as a goods transaction due to the supply capacity of the goods of the issuer, supply performance of goods regarding consumers and the scale of gift certificate issuance

17.
Any act of forcing another person to register as a subordinate salesman using social relations or forcing the subordinate salesman to purchase goods

18.
Any act of forcing training/training camp on salesmen or persons who wish to become salesmen according to one’s own intention
-
19.
Any act of attracting salesmen through employment/secondary employment introductions, job fairs or educational conferences under false pretenses without clearly stating the purpose of recruiting salesmen

20.
Any act of making another sponsored direct salesman responsible for recruiting a certain number of subordinate salesmen or registering a certain person as their subordinate salesman without the person’s consent

21.
Any act of registering a national public official, local public official, public educational official or teacher as a sponsored direct salesman

I am aware that public officials and teachers cannot register as sponsored direct salesmen according to Article 15 of the Act On Door-to-Door Sales, etc and I certify that this does not apply to me.
Sale price of products or cost of services
The sale price of all products sold at the company or the cost of services can be found in the product catalog issued by the company or the GENERTE website (www.generte.com). In addition, you may obtain further information by contacting the customer support division (phone: 02-724-3911) of the company.
Payment period and method of products or services
Gene Masters who wish to purchase company products may purchase them through the GENERTE website (www.generte.com).
Delivery orders will be delivered to the provided address after confirming the payment and delivery order.
Please refer to the GENERTE website (www.generte.com) and related catalog for more information on product purchasing methods.
Period of product delivery and service provision
Orders made directly through a company-managed center may immediately be collected on site, and delivery orders will be delivered to the provided address generally from 1 to 5 busienss days after confirming the payment and order. Please note that Sundays and holidays are excluded from the delivery days. Further information on the delivery of products can be found on the GENERTE website (www.generte.com) and related catalog.
Quality assurance and follow-up services
The company pays full attention to quality assurance and protection of consumers who purchase the company’s products in accordance with the related regulations.
Withdrawal of sponsored direct salesmen
Those who wish to withdraw after registering as a Gene Master may do so at any time by submitting a withdrawal form to the company. Those who withdraw must return their Gene Master registration certificate and Gene Master notebook to the company.
Subscription withdrawal and product returns
Those who wish to return purchased products should send the product with a receipt that proves that the product has been purchased to the company. The refund amount will be determined after deducting the paid allowance and the recognized performance will also be adjusted. Returning remaining stock is only permitted within three months of the purchase date.
Dispute resolution regarding sponsored direct sales
The district court that has jurisdiction over the address of the Gene Master during the period of the lawsuit shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising in relation to this application. Moreover, consumers may demand damage relief caused by the use of the products sold by the company to the Korea Consumer Agency in accordance with the regulations of Article 55 of the Framework Act on Consumers.
If this application contains false information or if the provisions, related regulations or other company code of ethics and regulations are violated, the company may cancel the Gene Master qualification of the person through a written notification.
When the Gene Master qualification is canceled, the loss of qualification is effective immediately and newly registering as a Gene Master with a canceled qualification may be restricted.
Products that are not sold by the time of cancellation may be returned in accordance with the return policies. The returned product will be refunded after deducting the paid allowance and the recognized performance will also be adjusted.
